Special Conditions
Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing is desirable from a fully accredited institution of higher learning. Two to five years of experience in clinical nursing lab setting is required. Experience utilizing technology related to patient simulations, audio/visual equipment, telemedicine, and standardized participants is preferred.
The department is especially interested in candidates with clinical learning lab experience to ensure the availability of appropriate resources to successfully complete evidence-based learning opportunities in a simulated patient care environment and clinical simulation research and effective teaching strategies in a simulated patient care environment. Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of communications with faculty and leadership. Supports the mission and vision of the Loewenberg College of Nursing and serves as representatives to clinical agencies, students, and the community through lab and simulation scheduling and collaborative efforts.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Knowledgeable of simulation patient care equipment.
Motivated team player with the desire to share creative solutions and best practices.
Position will entail moderate lifting and carrying, walking, sitting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
Exemplary creative, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Experience with human patient simulators and audio/visual or telemedicine preferred, as well as MS Office.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working with technology, including electrical power, and compressed gases, knowledge of case scenarios using simulation software; and irregular work hours.
