We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills: + Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or OTC industry experience + HPLC , GC, viscosity testing, and/or reflux testing experience + B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related Pay: $62k-$68k Schedule: 2 nd shift: 3:15p-11:45p Type of Job: Direct Hire/Permanent Location : (Onsite- Oak Brook) At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position. QC Chemist Daily Tasks : What you will do: + Conduct a variety of analytical instrumentation tests, including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), GC (Gas Chromatography), viscosity testing, refractometry (reflex testing), and wet chemistry techniques. + Support testing of finished products and raw materials in compliance with regulated environments such as GMP or ISO standards. + Apply a solid understanding of analytical chemistry principles to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of test results. + Lead and perform investigations into deviations or out-of-specification results, including root cause analysis ( RCA ) and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions ( CAPA ). QC Chemist Qualifications/Requirements: + B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related field + 1+ years of laboratory experience in a GMP regulated environment such as Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, OTC + Experience with HPLC , GC, reflex testing, and/or viscosity testing We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
