As a 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product excellence by performing inspections, testing, and collaborating with cross functional teams. Why You'll Want This Job: Competitive Pay: $24.00/hour Stable 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Must be open to overtime and weekend shifts when needed) Paid Training on 1st Shift: You will receive in-depth training on the morning shift for 1-2 months before transitioning to 2nd shift. Location: Libertyville, IL Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Get your foot in the door with a leading manufacturer Skills: Review workloads and prioritize tasks effectively Inspect products for compliance with documentation and customer specifications Perform routine inspections of electronic sub-assemblies, cables, and hardware Identify and document deviations in product form, fit, function, or process. Assist in developing product or process standards in coordination with relevant departments. Ensure all process and product changes are accurately documented. Verify product strength, quality, and durability through testing. Operate mechanical and electrical test equipment Support internal diagnostics programs and assist in training new team members. Contribute to team goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection 2 years of knowledge of computer hardware or networking Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Basic computer skills. Work well with others and demonstrate a great work ethic. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to follow written instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Must be able to work additional hours and weekends when required.
