Position Details: Title: Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist Position Type: 1 Year contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need Job Location : West Point, PA Shift: 1st shift Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance Compensation: $34-$37.25/HR Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team in a pharmaceutical testing and analysis role. This position will primarily support GMP and non-GMP testing activities, method development and validation, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Conduct GMP and non-GMP testing on pharmaceutical drug products under the supervision of senior staff. Perform method development and validation activities. Accurately document and review work using electronic laboratory notebooks in compliance with data integrity regulations. Author and/or review technical documents and reports. May be required to work with Beta-Lactam and OEB 4-5 compounds , adhering to relevant safety protocols. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry required. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (with a BS degree). Strong experience with HPLC . Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment . Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently while producing high-quality data. Strong foundation in scientific principles and the ability to apply them to assigned tasks. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Empower , ChemStation , or similar chromatography data systems. Experience with dissolution testing , gas chromatography (GC) , and Karl Fischer (KF) titration. Software Skills: Proficient in Empower , ChemStation , or equivalent chromatography software. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite . Key Competencies: Highly detail-oriented and organized .
