They will lead advanced analytics initiatives for strategic consulting and high-impact client engagements. Working under the guidance of the Director of Data Science, they will translate client business needs into actionable analytics solutions, supporting all phases of pharmaceutical development. The Senior Data Scientist will also support product quality testing capabilities and, as a subject matter expert (SME), build capacity for advanced analytics solutions within the Services organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical strategy and scope new advanced analytics offerings by overseeing client engagements end-to-end, including feasibility assessments, model development, and solution delivery for high-impact across the drug development lifecycle.
- Design and build prototype machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models to extract actionable insights from complex, multimodal real-world data, including EHR, claims, clinical notes, genomics, and transcriptomics data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (RWE, Data Science, Engineering) and external client stakeholders to tailor analytics / AI solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and scientific rigor.
- Conduct deep analytical reviews across ConcertAI's internal data pipelines and platforms (e.g., OMOP, FHIR, and proprietary pipelines) to maximize data utility and analytical impact.
- Contribute to product development efforts by translating analytical innovations into scalable platform capabilities and driving enhancements through quality testing and user feedback loops.
