Chemist
Our client, a analytical laboratory industry, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the laboratory team supporting various analytical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Chemist
Location: Napoleon, OH (Onsite)
What's the Job?
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all analytical equipment including GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS, LC/QTOF, and ICP/MS.
Identify and quantify components of interest and unknowns with both accuracy and precision.
Participate in analytical proficiency programs and investigate any corrective actions.
Keep current with new and developing technologies and design additional analytical procedures.
Ensure compliance with all internal plant, corporate, local, state, and federal regulatory standards.
What's Needed?
BS degree in Chemistry, Forensic, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
Strong knowledge of standard multiresidue pesticide methodology and heavy metals testing.
Proficient in using complex instrumentation and data collection tools.
Ability to proactively identify and address concerns affecting food safety and product quality.
