Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory assessmentschemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondfollowing established protocols carefully.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workplace while adhering closely to regulatory and accreditation benchmarks.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within one year of employment.
• Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
