Description Your Role Awaits

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, in accordance with definitive protocols.
• Examine results to ensure accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and appropriately prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all procedures meticulously, contribute to training new staff or students, and help maintain the labs quality control standards.
• Ensure a tidy and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, including preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
