Description Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testscovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare specimen samples for testing as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or interns, and assist in maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitary, safe work environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
