Description Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Keep thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new team members, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure is required.
