Job Description
Conduct wetland delineations, jurisdictional determinations, habitat assessments, plant identification, and wildlife surveys.
Support environmental analyses for NEPA, Clean Water Act, and other permitting efforts.
Prepare detailed technical reports that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
Apply knowledge of protected species and wetland ecology in the field and during documentation.
Use GPS/GIS tools and mapping software to collect and interpret field data.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
Ensure work is completed on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Travel regularly to project sites, often in remote or rural locations, and work in varied environmental conditions.
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Pay Rate: 31-35/HR

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of professional experience in environmental fieldwork and technical reporting.
Strong skills in technical writing, data interpretation, and verbal communication.
Demonstrated experience with:
Wetland delineations and plant identification
Wildlife and habitat assessments
Environmental permitting (especially in the Southeastern U.S.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with GPS/GIS field tools.
Ability to travel and perform fieldwork under various weather and terrain conditions.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and adaptability in team environments.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
