Biochemist

We are seeking a self-motivated Biochemist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, primarily focusing on assisting in protein purification from plant and bacterial systems. This role requires expertise in protein expression, purification, and characterization. Collaboration within the team is crucial, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in protein purification from plant and bacterial systems.
• Utilize knowledge in protein expression, purification, and characterization.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Employ various protein analysis methods such as concentration determination, SDS-PAGE, and Western blot analysis.
• Apply chromatography techniques and protein expression methods.

• Expertise in protein expression and purification.
• Ability to perform protein analysis including concentration determination, SDS-PAGE, and Western blot analysis.
• Proficiency in chromatography techniques.

• B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
