Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Laboratory Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for analytical testing of our latex products including Acrylic Copolymers, Carboxylate Styrene-Butadiene (XSB), and Coater-Ready formulationsto ensure product quality and compliance with manufacturing standards
Job Description
Analytical Testing
- Conduct laboratory analyses to accurately measure physical properties such as pH, viscosity, solids, and particle size distribution (PSD).
- Perform chemical composition testing using analytical techniques including Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and titration methods.
- Ensure consistent quality control of latex and other chemical products.
Sample Collection
- Collect samples as part of routine operations and support other assigned sampling tasks to meet manufacturing and quality control requirements.
Data Entry & Computer Systems
- Input and retrieve test data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS IQS), SAP, and other relevant lab software systems to support accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Quality Orientation
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tests and reporting results.
- Clearly and precisely communicate findings to support product quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Operational Excellence
- Show technical aptitude and commitment to continuous improvement by completing Lean White & Yellow Belt certification within one year of hire.
Teamwork & Communication
- Foster respectful and collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams including logistics, operations, security, and engineering.
Skills Required
- 2 years of chem lab experience, preferably with progressively increasing responsibility.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Associates degree in chemistry, Biology, Metrology, or other science/engineering discipline with a minimum of 6+ months of industrial experience in a QA/QC, R&D, Analytical, or Environmental laboratory setting. Or.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant industrial laboratory experience in QA/QC, R&D, Analytical, or Environmental laboratories.

- Shift Time: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
