Description Your Impactful Role

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for consistency, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative upkeep and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when needed.
• Meticulously document all processes, contribute to the training of new staff or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment by adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
