The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Research Associate position in the Division of Hand in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Columbia University Medical Center, working directly with Dr. Melvin Rosenwasser and his team.
This position reports to the Clinical Research Manager.
Responsibilities
Research Associate will perform telephone and in-person interviews and assessments of study participants; this includes administering standardized interviews of medical and family history, everyday functioning, and recruitment of research participants for various studies.
The Research Associate will assess capacity to consent and obtain informed consent in this minimal risk study following Institutional Review Board policies and regulations.
Data management which includes scoring protocols, organizing, filing, data cleaning, presenting data collected, data entry into REDCap.
Other related duties upon requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
Good organizational and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and ability to conduct chart reviews.
Must be able to learn and operate research project software.
