Description What Youll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various fields, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot any issues found, and maintain and calibrate lab instruments with care and precision.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new team members or students, and ensure adherence to quality standards in the lab.
• Keep a neat and secure work environment, observing all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your time with us.
