Description What You Will Experience

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established protocols.
• Interpret test results with precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and adequately prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Document all procedures thoroughly, mentor new team members or students, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or similar allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
