responsibilities include but are not limited to Perform the Branch ManagerOffice Leader functions including overseeing other departmental managers managing the revenue and cost for budgeted profitability hiring and maintaining staff AR & WIP management oversite safety leader and required safety culture of branch per Atlas requirementsProvide market analysis and clear strategic vision for San Antonio operationsProvide leadership mentoring and direction to managers within San Antonio operationsContinuous evaluation of the groups strengths and weaknessesActively work with other Atlas offices to develop synergies with common clients work force etcActively work with national account managers to establish communications for future national account workDevelop relationships with new potential Clients to maintain a steady backlog of work and increase the existing Client baseDevelop and maintain existing and past clients for future workProvide timely responses to all proposals that management determines are worthy of pursuingHiring and onboarding staff supervisory responsibilities including conducting performance reviewsDevelop relationships with public clients in support of CEICMTDB projectsDevelop and execute business and teaming strategies for CEICMTDB pursuitsManage staff and resources on CMTDBCEI projectsConduct business in a professional honest and ethical fashion at all timesApplies principles methods and techniques of engineeringAssists in reviewing material sampling and testingCollects engineering data at projects sitesLead coordinate and schedule work of staffUses automated programs and computer assisted designengineering systemsPerforms detailed engineering calculationsProvides technical assistance to staffInteraction with clients contractors and other design professionalsCoordinates with consultants on various projects to discuss designs and design problemsCoordinates with contractors on project progress and construction related issuesPrepare proposals and assist in invoicingPerforms other job responsibilities as assignedHighly responsive provides options advises on difficult decisions always act as a good faith partner and delivers on client expectations and our promisesMinimum requirements Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college university or engineering school approved by a State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land SurveyorsTexas PE License RequiredValid Class C Texas Drivers LicenseMinimum of 15 years of experience with transportation engineering construction material testing andor project managementProject Management Experience working directly with TxDOT or other Local Agencies with a focus on construction management of transportation projectsTechnical requirements Technically proficient in performing constructability reviews and managing construction claims on transportation projectsKnowledge of State and local government standards and specificationsWell versed in Microsoft OfficeSite Manger or other construction tracking softwareTechnical report writingOther miscellaneous qualities Ability to travel 25 of the timeDrive to and from job sitesCommunicate
