Position Description Advertised Job Summary Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine (Columbia) is seeking a highly motivated medical student who is interested in pursuing a 1-year research fellowship. The research fellow will take a leading role in multiple projects, including writing clinical research manuscripts, in craniofacial surgery, breast surgery, microsurgery, hand & peripheral nerve surgery, and gender-affirming surgery within the division. This funded position is ideal for highly motivated individual who can work with different faculty members and plastic surgery residents to help design studies andplete previously initiated studies. T will also be opportunities to present research findings at various national conferences. The fellow will also be invited to participate in divisional conferences and othercational activities, and t will be opportunities to work with School of Engineering & School of Medicine faculty members.
