Job Title: Senior Metallurgical Engineer

Adecco is partner with apany in Peterborough, NH and seeking a Senior Metallurgical Engineer to lead and support metallurgical processes across a manufacturing operations. In this key technical role, you will serve as the subject matter expert on heat treatment and metallurgy, driving continuous improvement, ensuring processpliance, and collaborating across teams to resolve issues and enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and monitor heat treat operations for process control andpliance.

Investigate and resolve metallurgical and process failures; document findings and implement corrective actions.

Troubleshoot heat treat and metallurgical equipment issues, reducing downtime and improving reliability.

Maintain documentation and develop training materials related to heat treatment processes.

Conduct internal audits focused on materials and heat treatment requirements.

Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and corrective action processes.

Support external audits (e.g., Nadcap) and conduct supplier visits for audits and process improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in heat treatment and metallurgical processes.

In-depth knowledge of ferrous metallurgy and heat treat methods and equipment.

Experience in the aerospace industry or with Nadcappliance (preferred).

Six Sigma certification (preferred).

Project management experience is a plus.

Strongputer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when necessary.

Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum/refugee status due to export control regulations.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
