Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Groveport, OH

Schedules Available:

  • 1st Shift 6:30am-3:00pm M-F

  • 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm M-F

  • 3rd Shift 10:30pm-7:00am M-F

Pay Rate: $18-21.25/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Systems Inspector to support our quality operations across incoming materials, production processes, and final product inspections. This role is responsible for auditing documentation, inspecting materials and labels, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, customer requirements, and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit batch records, inventory transactions, and Certificates of Analysis for accuracy and compliance.

  • Inspect incoming components, labels, and packaging using ANSI/ASQC standards and customer specifications.

  • Perform quality checks on product appearance, weight, torque, and packaging integrity throughout production.

  • Maintain and update inspection standards, perform AQL sampling, and place non-conforming items on hold.

  • Use SAP for inventory tracking, label release, and status changes; generate reports and track issues.

  • Conduct root cause investigations for quality deviations and assist in implementing corrective actions.

  • Communicate quality issues and alerts to relevant departments and external suppliers when needed.

  • Ensure adherence to FDA GMP, OSHA safety requirements, and internal safety/environmental policies.

  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and proper documentation of all quality activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection or a technical manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality inspection procedures.

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
