Project Engineer

Project Engineer Baton Rouge Area Serve as the main project engineering resource for a chemical plant in the Baton Rouge area. Manage the CAPEX budget that ranges from $5 to $15 million per year. This site makes products that go into a wide variety of markets, so it tends to be stable through all business cycles. This role will be replacing an Engineer who is retiring. Develop project scopes in conjunction with operations and maintenance Develop process improvement projects across the site Initiate cost estimates and manage costs Manage Engineering Firms Coordinate design, engineering, construction Own and manage the project stage gate process Install projects, train operations personnel Develop and manage a 5-year site improvement plan
