Product Design and Development - Product Research Associate 2

Location: Beaverton, OR

Salary Range: $35-39/Hour

The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. The role involves carrying out foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics, which fuels and supports the overall innovation agenda resulting in creating functionally superior creative products. The position utilizes biomechanical and physiological equipment to conduct leading-edge experiments to collect data contributing to the research and development of new technologies.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience
• Alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 1 yr; Masters 0-3 yrs; Associates degree 1-3 yrs; High School 3-5 yrs
• PhD in Biomechanics or Physiology or similar field plus 1 year of research experience, or a Master's Degree plus 0-3 years of experience in lieu of PhD

• Experience in conducting independent experiments and summarizing data
• Proficiency in preparing reports to present results of independent experiments and findings at the department level
• Demonstrates a high level of initiative in performing experiments independently

• Conduct foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics
