Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Product Research Associate. The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Carries out foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics, which fuels and supports the overall innovation agenda resulting in creating functionally superior creative product
- Utilizes biomechanical and physiological equipment to conduct leading- edge experiments to collect data contributing to the research and development of new technologies
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative in performing experiments independently
- Summarizes data from research
- Assists in preparation of reports to present results of independent experiments and findings at department level* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience; One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law degree and 1 year of experience; Master's degree and 0-3 years of experience; Associate's degree and 1-3 years of experience; High School diploma/GED and 3-5 years of experience; PhD in Biomechanics or Physiology or similar field and 1+ years of research experience; Master's degree plus 0-3 years of experience in lieu of PhD
