Title: Chemical Lab Technician II

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Shift: 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description:

The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.

Responsibilities

Perform lab experiments daily, document and communicate results to support customer-oriented R D projects

Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work, handling chemical and operating lab equipment

Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale

Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals

Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory

Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities

Contribute ideas that improve the safety, efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Experience:

Minimum least 2 years of lab experience preferably in an industrial or pilot plant environment
