Job Description We are seeking a skilled chemist to join our team in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. This role involves testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, and components, as well as stability study samples. You will primarily focus on new ANDA products, specifically Oral Dose products, and assist with testing samples such as oral rinses and antiseptics using techniques like titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily testing using HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.
- Inspect supplies and ingredients used for pharmaceutical production.
- Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy.
- Participate in instrument validation.
- Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines.
- Ensure high data integrity through thorough documentation of testing protocols and executed tests.
- Proficiency in chemistry, HPLC, and laboratory techniques.
- Experience with GMP, wet chemistry, titration, pH measurement, and gas chromatography.
- Strong understanding of FDA compliance and cGMP standards.
- Excellent data integrity and documentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in chemistry.
- 3-5+ years of experience in HPLC/GC and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Preferred 4 years of experience with hands-on GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry techniques.
- Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP.
- Strong handwriting skills for laboratory notebook documentation.
- Familiarity with Agilent OpenLab software is preferred.
