Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a 6-month contract position at a leading biotech company in San Jose, CA. Pay Rate:
$34-37/hour

Overview:
In this role, youll conduct various QC test methods such as flow cytometry analysis and Nucleic Acid Extraction, closely adhering to SOPs and compliance practices while maintaining equipment and monitoring inventory. You will actively communicate and collaborate with colleagues across departments, contribute to diverse client projects, and engage in continuous improvement activities.

Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform timely completion of QC test methods including but not limited to flow cytometry analysis, Nucleic Acid Extraction, qPCR, ELISA.
  
• Accurately executes project test methods and procedures following defined SOPs and compliance practices (GDP, GMP, GTP).
  
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot pertinent equipment, performing testing as needed. Performs and assists in equipment qualification and method validations, as needed.
  
• Maintain inventory of QC materials and lab supplies, including monitoring and ordering.
  
• Assist with developing procedures for Quality Control.
  
• Work on diverse client projects with different test methods and analysis of data.
  
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, management and departments (i.e. Quality and Manufacturing).
  
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, as needed, and other duties as assigned.
  
• May support other functional areas or duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Science or related field required.
  
• 1+ years of experience in a GMP environment from a biopharma company.
  
• Proficient in Flow Cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
  
• Working knowledge of quality systems, including but not limited to change controls, deviations, CAPAs, GxP regulations and standards.
