You'll play a key role in preparing biological samples and developing analytical methods that drive impactful research.
This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow.
Prepare biological samples (cells, tissues, plasma) for LC-MS analysis
Perform protein lysis, immunoprecipitation, digestion, filtration, and concentration
Design and execute experiments in collaboration with scientists
Develop and optimize analytical methods
Analyze, interpret, and document results in electronic lab notebooks
Present findings and contribute to team discussions
Maintain high standards of lab safety and data integrity
Work on meaningful science with real-world impact
Collaborate with top-tier scientists in a supportive environment

Qualifications :
BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field + 3-5 years of experience OR
MS + 1-3 years of experience
Strong experience with LC-MS sample preparation workflows
Familiarity with proteomics and immunoanalytical techniques
Exposure to Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM) is a plus
Comfortable operating lab equipment and following complex protocols
Excellent data organization and communication skills
Independent and self-motivated
Strong team player with collaborative mindset
Eager to learn and apply new techniques quickly
Hands-on role in protein mass spectrometry, supporting innovative research in pharmacokinetics and metabolism.
Emphasize LC-MS sample prep as the core skill-candidates with strong experience here are highly valued.
PRM and proteomics are preferred but trainable-encourage candidates with LC-MS and immunoassay backgrounds to apply.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
