How you will contribute You will plan and conduct projects and with guidance, deliver results, and interpret and write technical reports. You will help complete consumer research including data analysis and results interpretation, applying your knowledge of statistics to analyze, draw conclusions and report results. In this role, you will also lead and manage descriptive panels, recruiting, training, screening, and managing panelist's performance, interact with your peers, junior developers/marketing and other colleagues, and may take on supervisory responsibility when completing assignments. You will also work on teams when new methodologies and capabilities are being evaluated, proposed and implemented, working with other consumer scientists, junior developers and other cross-functional colleagues, and will ensure the efficiency and safety of the sensory laboratory, including maintenance of the quality system, making sure that procedures are followed properly and the highest standards of work and environment, health and safety are maintained. The role is to deliver deep and breakthrough human insights that shape Beyond the Core, Transformational, and Discovery innovation for Multicategory and Discovery teams to fuel the next growth curves for Mondelez's brands. The role works with the cross-functional teams to plan and implement robust, iterative and agile research programs that generate actionable insights to shape strategic directions and drive business results. Consumer Science and Tools and Application: Knowing Consumer Science (CS) tools, methodologies and applying them to bring meaningful insights from the consumer, marketplace and technology to drive Desired Consumer Experience (DCE) development and evaluate technology solutions Leverage Connections: Applies the skills and behaviors to maximize the impact of collaboration and knowledge internally and externally Business Partnering: having trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to work jointly on learning plans and testing approaches. Leveraging Knowledge: Building, maintaining and leveraging both internal and external networks; creating, sharing, retaining and reusing knowledge and learning with a business and action oriented mindset Critical Behaviors & Mindset Connects multiple data points Bias for experimentation, finding answers and failing fast within a flexible highly constrained plan Education / Certifications: Bachelor's in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field preferred Job specific requirements: 2-3 years of experience in related field. Travel requirements: Minimal travel Work schedule: This position is based in East Hanover, NJ with a hybrid work model offering a mix of onsite and remote flexibility. The base salary range for this position is $66,400 to $91,300; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
