Work setting: in-person

Location: South Kihei - Maui

Schedule

8 hour shift: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with 1-hour lunch

Sonday and Monday

Preferred Qualifications:

- This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Must be proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

- Possess a positive attitude, take initiative with little direction, and demonstrate a willingness to take full responsibility for all position duties. The goal of a Property Operations & Quality Control Specialist is to ensure that all properties are in excellent condition, offer a seamless guest experience, and maintain the integrity and value of the property portfolio.

- Reliable transportation, a current Hawaii drivers license, and auto insurance coverage.

What you will be doing:

1. Maintenance Coordination:

o Oversee and coordinate routine and emergency maintenance of properties.

o Schedule repairs and service appointments with vendors, maintenance staff, or contractors.

o Ensure that all maintenance issues are resolved promptly to minimize inconvenience to guests and impact on bookings.

2. Property Inspections:

o Conduct quality inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.

o Inspect premises after the housekeeping crew completes the cleaning.

3. Operations Support:

o Use property management software to track maintenance tasks, costs, and vendor performance.

o Prepare reports on maintenance activities, expenses, and operational challenges.

4. Property Operations:

o Set up WIFI equipment and TVs and troubleshoot WIFI and TV issues.

o Purchase and replace items for the property as needed to ensure it remains fully stocked and well-maintained.

o Log all property-specific activities and provide detailed communication to Midway management to ensure accurate billing and reporting of Midway services

o Retain documentation related to all expenses and submit receipts and Invoices to the Midway accounting department according to Midway policies and procedures.
