Description

Staff Software Development Engineer, IQVIA Inc., Wayne, PA. May telecommute (work from home) within commuting distance of the Wayne, PA office location to be able to attend onsite client and project meetings as needed. Create efficient Data transformations on cloud-based data platforms. Create and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure. Create Airflow jobs to orchestrate data movement and transformations. Create and maintain APIs using JAVA frameworks. Get clarifications on the business requirements and help translate them to technical design. Manage Project related JIRA board to help the team. Create data architectures that are robust and cost efficient. Design micro-service-based applications that are highly scalable to meet customer demands. Work M-F 9 am - 5 pm (ET). Salary Range: $157,122 - $256,900/year.

Requires at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires two (2) years of software and data engineering experience, to include two (2) years: data modeling; gathering business requirements; building data platforms that support business analytics; working with Python frameworks like Airflow or Flask; building advanced (containerized, multi-threaded and concurrent) Java based microservices; optimizing queries with SQL and Spark SQL; and building cloud-based networking stack (VNets).
