We are looking for a motivated Scientist to join the Potency & Binding team within the Analytical Research and Development (ARD) department at Alvotech, Reykjavik. In this position, you will be a part of an agile team with the focus on analyzing samples, development and validation of analytical methods to measure the biological activity (potency and binding) of our products.
Scope and responsibility:
Conduct cell-free binding assays with proteins.
Perform bioassays for biosimilar sample analysis.
Maintain lab records and manage inventory.
Qualifications:
University degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Experience with ELISA and bioassay analysis software is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude.
Quick learner with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
