We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Scientist to join the Potency & Binding team within the Analytical Research and Development (ARD) department at Alvotech, Reykjavik. In this position, you will be a part of an agile team with the focus on analyzing samples, development and validation of analytical methods to measure the biological activity (potency and binding) of our products.
Scope and responsibility:
Conduct cell- based and cell-free binding assays with mAb.
Perform bioassays for biosimilar and routine sample analysis.
Be part of method development, qualification and validation.
Follow GLP and GMP requirements.
Job requirements:
Postgraduate in Life Science with 5+ years' experience / Doctorate in Life Science with 2+ years of experience with bioassays and in R D.
Experience in Mammalian cell cultures techniques.
Potency assay Method development experience.
Potency assay Method qualification/validation experience is must.
Experience in Bioassays for sample analysis for Biosimilars/Biologics required.
Experience in cell free ELISA is must.
Knowledge of Potency related Software specification and validation
Experience with GMP set up and regulatory guidelines are desired.
GMP experience is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
