The Connor lab is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician. Theideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and a helpful presencein a dynamic research laboratory at the NEIDL. Position responsibilitiesinclude laboratory organization and regular ordering, experimentalresponsibilities which will include helping carry out ongoingexperiments that include testing antiviral small molecules, evaluatingdiagnostic platforms, developing lab-on-a-chip methods. Work will alsoinvolve testing on multiple viruses. Experiments will regularly involvertPCR, western blotting, immunofluorescence microscopy an individualvirus microscopy. Additionally, regular tasks will include virus growth,stock maintenance and cell culture. The laboratory carries out BSL3work, and experience or interest in BSL3 work is seen as a plus.Required Skills Bachelor\'s degree and 1-3 years of experience.
