Responsibilities:

  • Perform and analyze kinetic and thermodynamic studies of antigen-antibody interactions using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and solution-based methods

  • Perform high throughput epitope binning studies using SPR

  • Develop new biophysical assays that leverage automation and computational tools to expand throughput and capabilities of our platforms

  • Contribute as an essential and reliable teammate to help advance projects to a successful conclusion with a high level of motivation

  • Interact productively with scientifically diverse research teams, including clear and concise presentation of data through oral presentations and written reports/communications

  • Contribute to the development of the companys professional and scientific concepts and principals to achieve objectives in creative and effective ways

Qualifications:

  • Position requires a background in Biophysics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ Years of academic / industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology research environment, a Master's Degree with 3+ Years of academic / industry experience, or a PhD.

  • Knowledge of surface plasmon resonance and experience with the operation of diverse SPR instrumentation is a must

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret biophysical binding data

  • Strong communication, visualization, and data presentation skills to scientifically diverse teams

  • Excellent problem solving skills and teamwork

  • Knowledge and ability to apply statistical principles and use statistical software required

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, and highly organized

  • Operational experience with KinExA experiments and instrumentation a plus

  • Experience and knowledge of flow cytometric antibody binding screens is a plus

  • Experience with Octet BLI instrumentation a plus

  • Experience with early-stage antibody stability assays a plus
