Chemistry Lab Technician

Job Description

Join our team of dedicated technicians who collaboratively provide fluid analysis services in a laboratory setting. Our focus is on delivering accurate and efficient testing of samples to empower customers with data-driven decisions regarding their equipment. As a Chemistry Laboratory Technician, you will work during the second shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, analyzing 850-1000 fluid samples daily while adhering to strict quality procedures. Our work environment emphasizes safety, quality, and a supportive, professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Review and report data accurately.
• Log sample information into the system.
• Stand for 8 hours and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Pass respirator training and physical screening.
• Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers about test results.

• Strong foundation in chemistry and laboratory practices.
• Physical ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments such as ICP, FTIR, and GC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Well-organized and works well with others.

The role operates within a laboratory setting during the second shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM). The environment values safety and quality, requiring technicians to be clean-shaven and capable of passing respirator training. Team members engage in regular meetings and updates to maintain effective communication. The job involves standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
