Chemistry Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Join our team of dedicated technicians who collaboratively provide fluid analysis services in a laboratory setting. Our focus is on delivering accurate and efficient testing of samples to empower customers with data-driven decisions regarding their equipment. As a Chemistry Laboratory Technician, you will work during the second shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, analyzing 850-1000 fluid samples daily while adhering to strict quality procedures. Our work environment emphasizes safety, quality, and a supportive, professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
  • Review and report data accurately.
  • Log sample information into the system.
  • Stand for 8 hours and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Pass respirator training and physical screening.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for safety compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers about test results.
Essential Skills
  • Strong foundation in chemistry and laboratory practices.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments such as ICP, FTIR, and GC.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365.

Work Environment

The role operates within a laboratory setting during the second shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
